From walking the halls at Woodland Junior High to walking the aisle to say "I Do"..... Brittany Lavy and Chase Priest have known each other since Junior High. And in May 2010, they'll be getting married at Dickson Street's Ce
ntral United Methodist Church. For their Save the Date, I envisioned a time-line that would show their journey together, from the year they met to the year they marry! Brittany, her mom, and wedding planner Jenessa Bailey all swooned at the design concept as we met around my consulting table - and Voila! You have the most original Save the Date design with a charming story to tell....a story of friendship and love and marriage! Eeee! I love it so! To illustrate Brittany and Chase's journey together, I called on New York calligrapher Nancy Howell to pen the time-line's icons. Having worked with Nancy on several other projects, I knew she'd do the most amazing job! Nancy is a treat to work with and has been widely published in Martha Stewart Weddings, Grace Ormond Wedding Style, and Preston Bailey's Fantasy Weddings.
(there's another project I've completed with Ms. Nancy, but I can't show you until the bride mails her invitations in January! I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!)
So combine the talents of Nancy Howell, the creativity of Sincerely Yours Paper, and the bride's romantic color scheme of ivory, blush and slate...and you get this dreamy, dreamy Save the Date! Congratulations on your life together, Brittany and Chase!

Love this timeline idea for the 'save the date' announcement.
Thanks for helping Meredith create my note cards for a Christmas gift. I absolutely love them...even the Zeta teal ink. Rita
